Fentanyl, the workplace, and you.

April 27, 2017 at 6:00pm

It has been over a year since the government in British Columbia recognized the public health crisis right in front of their eyes. Since then our communities have been deeply scarred by fentanyl, and workers have been pushed to the brink to cope with the new demands on them.

What: Fentanyl in the workplace - taking care of yourself so you can take care of others.

Where: Your BCGEU area office

When: April 27th @ 6:00 - Dinner provided as long as you RSVP.

To address the challenges you are facing the BCGEU is hosting an information forum across the province on April 27th that will offer support in a time of crisis. This will be a chance to go over best practices for responding to overdoses with Naloxone, and your health and safety rights at work. we will be hearing from workers on the front lines of the crisis, as well as from a Surrey firefighter and mental health professional.

This event is open to all members and their families.

You can attend at any BCGEU area office, or stream it online as long as you RSVP. We will be sending around a link to everyone who RSVPs, so even if you can't make it out to an area office you can still participate from wherever you are.

Will you come?
